Extreme Clowning were very generously donated 30 tickets for The Salisbury Playhouse’s Panto, Dick Whittington and his Cat.
The team behind Sleeping Beauty last Christmas returns with another laughter-filled family pantomime.
Dick Whittington has decided he needs to spread his wings and leave Salisbury and his mother behind. He’s heard that the streets of London are paved with gold and sets out on an adventure that takes him from London’s Cheapside to far away shores and an encounter with King Rat. Ably accompanied by his sidekick Tabby the Cat, and with a sprinkling of magic from Fairy Bowbells, Dick eventually returns in triumph to become Lord Mayor of London.
Dick Whittington and His Cat is packed with catchy songs, colourful sets and costumes, plenty of audience participation and loads of laughs. It’s the perfect family entertainment this Christmas.
The cast includes Kieran Buckeridge as Mrs Whittington, who had audiences in stitches as Nurse Nanny in Sleeping Beauty last year.
We distributed these tickets to a Special Educational Needs School in Salisbury.
