To some of you – this may seem a weird subject !
But with these guys eating out is a huge learning process, and it is also fun.
If you imagine there are average 35,000 items in a supermarket – and we probably know some if not most of them – but not all of them.
a lot of deafblind people have no idea how many different food items there are available
so there eating out can create a new and educational experience :
the name of the item
( they may have had the item before but did not know what it was called )
restaurant theme / setting
country of origin
if they have ever heard of the item before? ( it happens )
